| + | A trip to the basement was decided on and everyone began walking down the stairs. It seemed as if the basement was never getting closer and after they walked for 10 minutes down the stairs they stopped to try and deduce what was going on. All that walking and they were still just several steps from the study. Reading the sign at the top closer, they put out all the light in the study and resumed their trek down the stairs. Still going seemingly nowhere they stopped once more. Amos and Beckett had been walking blindly, but both Eliwick and Rivvikyn can see in the darkness. They blindfolded themselves and the party resumed their pitch black march, arriving in the basement after 8 short steps. | ||

| + | We detected no magic in the room and decided to go through the only doorway down there. Inside this room was the display of an art collection. Paintings, statues, skulls, and other artifacts covered the room. After the last of us entered the room, the door closed behind us and a gas fills the air. All of us pass out and wake in some sort of vibrant dream. We are surrounded by rolling fields and decide to pick a direction and walk. As we crest a hill we come upon a group of goblins who attack us. Each goblin we defeat drops into nothing and leaves a vial behind. After a short battle we inspect the vials and they have a very foul smell to them. Seeing no other options, the group drinks a vial one by one and returns to the art room. It appears as if we were transported one of the paintings on the wall which now has blotches as if the paint were removed. Eliwick decides to try emptying a vial onto the painting. The paint runs off revealing a secret message, a series of dots reading: | ||
