| Eliwick decides to try touching the barrier with his hand. As he feels the wall he begins to lose his senses as if they are being pulled into the barrier. He manages to overcome the feeling and pull away. After this occurs, the barrier seems to lighten between two of the large spikes in the ground. A figure comes into view and steps through the lighter section. We talk with him about the town being unhappy they have taken the girl. He tells us that she came willingly and the barrier is for privacy so that they can hold a rite of passage for her as she joins their group. They also feel they have overstayed their welcome and tell us they will be leaving after the ritual is complete.
