| The morning begins with Beckett and Rivvikyn discussing their options in The Beholder and The Butcher over some ale. An armored man walks in and after looking around spots the two of them as they stand out from the locals. He approaches and introduces himself as Amos Ringenberg and proceeds to buy a round for them. While he is at the bar a large half-orc comes in and similarly approaches the table to introduce himself as Kin Soma. The party is quickly growing. Rivvikyn catches the two up on the tasks given to him by the Sherriff and Mayor. Kin is eager to begin the investigation of the robberies and asks the barkeep, Milo, about them. Milo answers their questions and they learn there is a single main trade route through town and points them to a pair of dwarves in the tavern who were recently robbed. Kin and Amos approach the pair who are more than happy to answer questions after a round of ale. The party learns the group of bandits is 4 or 5 strong taking advantage of unguarded wagons. The dwarves were carrying Eshara effigies to sell at the festival that their kin made, as they have been doing yearly for quite some time.
