The Carcean Confederation was formed when the great king [[imlath:people:carsus_giradin|Carsus]] was able to unite the five warring provinces under a single banner. The five leaders formed the Great Council and governed over Carce. This council forms the basis of governance in the confederation. The officially sanctioned religion in Carce is [[imlath:cultures:the_divine_assembly|The Divine Assembly]]. The dating system in Carce starts with the forming of the first Council and is represented as CF xxx, where xxx equals the number of years since the forming.
